Introduction to Rojolie

An introductory phone call can be arranged to answer any questions you may have about our services. Our treatment options plans and fees schedules can be fully explained. You may also be given information for you to read/consider.
An appointment for an Initial Assessment can be made with one of our team (Psychological therapists and/or Consultant Psychiatrist and Registered Psychologist)
Individualised treatment plans will be formulated in consultation with you.
Periodic follow-up contact is part of our treatment planning. This includes individual consultant reviews or group support & follow up meetings.
Thank you for contacting Rojolie Clinic. We understand that choosing the right clinician for an ADHD or mental health assessment can sometimes be confusing. This guide explains the different medically trained clinicians available at Rojolie Clinic, the services they provide, and our current fees for adults (16 years and over) and children and adolescents (under 16 years).
Each medical clinician is appropriately qualified for their role; however, their professional training, scope of practice and level of specialist medical qualification differs. The clinician best suited to you will depend on the complexity of your presentation, the type of assessment or treatment required, medication needs, and your insurance cover.

A Consultant Psychiatrist is a medical doctor who has completed specialist postgraduate training in psychiatry and is vocationally registered as a specialist psychiatrist.

A MOSS is a registered medical doctor who works within specialist mental health services but is not vocationally registered as a Consultant Psychiatrist.

MOSS appointments are not eligible for reimbursement under most private medical specialist insurance policies. Patients should confirm their individual cover directly with their insurer.
A Clinical Nurse Practitioner is a highly experienced registered nurse who has completed advanced postgraduate clinical training and is authorised to practise independently within their scope of practice. A CNP is not a medical doctor or psychiatrist.

At Rojolie Clinic, MOSS clinicians work with Consultant Psychiatrist oversight/ endorsement for ADHD medication management, supporting consistent clinical and prescribing standards.
For many people seeking ADHD assessment or ongoing treatment, more than one clinician type may be appropriate. The most appropriate clinician will depend on the complexity of the presentation and the type of assessment or treatment required.
A Consultant Psychiatrist may be recommended where there is diagnostic complexity, significant co-existing mental or physical health conditions, previous treatment difficulties, or where a formal specialist psychiatric opinion or report is required by another healthcare professional, insurer or other organisation. CNP and MOSS clinicians may be appropriate for ADHD and mental health assessments, medication management and ongoing follow-up where the patient's clinical needs fall within their respective scopes of practice.
Our team can help guide you towards the clinician most appropriate for your clinical needs. CNP can diagnoses and prescribe for Adults (16yrs+) and need Psychiatrist endorsement to prescribe for <16years.
Additional fees may apply for clinical work undertaken outside scheduled appointments.
Where appropriate, patients will be advised of anticipated fees before substantial additional work is undertaken.
